I know it has been a while since my last blog. Life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately. We know that as we are preparing to enter into ministry, the enemy is throwing everything he has got at us. We also know that God is working so sovereignly and beautifully in our lives, but in a way that knocks us off our feet and demands our dependence on Him. We were originally planning on moving to North Carolina the beginning of this month. Our plans changed, however, when David ended up getting pneumonia and plural effusion. He was in the hospital for almost three weeks and ended up needing thoracic surgery. And so, we had to reevaluated and ask God what it was He was desiring for us. We just felt His assurance that He does have us going to North Carolina, but it will be on His timeline and not ours. He has slowed us down, and we truly believe it is because there is some beautiful things He is wanting to do in our hearts to prepare us better for our step into ministry. We know we are going to be here in Phoenix for at least a few more months. This is in order to raise our remaining 40%, as well as to make sure David is fully back to health. We felt a bit discouraged at first with our plans changing, but at the same time we feel so protected and cared for by the Lord. We know that He will be faithful to get us where He wants us to be, when He want us to be there.
